Scaramucci Warns Trump ‘Growing Darker’ As He’s ‘Coming To Grips’ With Election Defeat
Anthony Scaramucci, ex-communications director to former President Donald Trump, warned that his old boss was “growing darker” as he is “coming to grips” with the idea that he might lose the presidential election.
The commentary came in the form of a post on X after Trump addressed reporters on Thursday at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
During the nearly hour-long press conference, Trump focused his attacks on the Biden administration, the economy and immigration. He also targeted his attacks on Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, as he sought to draw contrasts between each campaign’s policy promises.
Throughout, Trump made several claims that included falsehoods and exaggerations in a speech that CNN fact-checker Daniel Dales lambasted as “whole bunch of nonsense.”
