Vance Rips Kamala Harris After Slew of Sunday Show Hits: She’s Had As Many ‘Tough Interviews’ As Walz Has ‘Battlefield Deployments’

JD Vance swiped at both Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz after he sat down for interviews on three separate Sunday morning shows.

Vance hit Harris over her lack of media availability since she became the Democratic party’s presumptive nominee for president. The Ohio Republican hit Walz with another dig at his military record.

Vance, who has been hitting Walz repeatedly this week over claims he abandoned his National Guard unit before a 2005 deployment to the Middle East, sat down for interviews Sunday with CNN’s State of the Union, ABC’s This Week, and CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday.

During his interview with CNN, Dana Bash noted Vance’s running mate former President Donald Trump “received a medical draft deferment for bone spurs to avoid serving in the Vietnam War” and asked him if he found that “shameful.”

He responded, “I think that Donald Trump didn’t serve in the military, but he didn’t lie about it.”

While Harris went another week without sitting down for a formal interview, her official campaign account attacked Vance by sharing clips on social media of some of his Sunday media hits.
