Former President Donald Trump re-upped his attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris and misspelled her first name in two posts on Monday night.
The two will square off in November after President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid last month.
In two successive posts on his Truth Social platform, Trump referred to Harris as “Kamabla.”
“People vote with their STOMACH, and food is now at an all time high because of Kamabla/Biden INCOMPETENCE,” he wrote in the first. “With them in charge, IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE!”
“Kamabla has stated, over and over again, that she wants to DEFUND THE POLICE AND, WITHOUT QUESTION, BAN FRACKING,” he said in the second post. “NO MORE FOSSIL FUEL.” This will quadruple the cost of energy in America!” DEPRESSION ANYONE!”
Trump caused an uproar last week at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago when he questioned Harris’s Blackness.
“I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black,” he said. “And now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?”
Later, the former president congratulated himself on the appearance, stating that he “CRUSHED IT!”
After last month’s attempt on his life, some insisted that Trump would change. Those who actually believed such a thing have been disabused of that notion in recent weeks, as Trump himself explained at a rally in Charlotte 11 days after the assassination attempt.
“You know, I was supposed to be nice,” he said. “They say something happened to me when I got shot. I became nice. And when you’re dealing with these people. They’re very dangerous people. When you’re dealing with them, you can’t be too nice. You really can’t be. So, if you don’t mind, I’m not gonna be nice!”
