Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Drops Retort To Cohen’s Melania Trump Bombshell: ‘Comes Down To Who Do You Believe?’

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade dropped a retort to former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s bombshell testimony about ex-President Donald Trump’s reaction to the prospect of Melania Trump finding out about his alleged sexual encounter.

Among the revelations Cohen made on the witness stand Monday was a stunningly flippant reaction that Cohen says he got from Trump when he asked about how Mrs. Trump might take it if the story of Trump’s sexual encounter with Daniels came out.

“He goes, ‘How long do you think I’ll be on the market for? Not long.’ He wasn’t thinking about Melania. This was all about the campaign,” Cohen said.

On Monday’s edition of Fox & Friends, Kilmeade pushed back on Cohen’s testimony on the basis that he’s never personally heard Trump say what Cohen says Trump said, that Melania would go to the window so Trump could wave to her from Marine One, and that “it comes down to who do you believe?”:

STEVE DOOCY: 225 miles south of where we are. Brian Kilmeade is in the bureau today. Brian, what did you make of Mr. Cohen yesterday?

BRIAN KILMEADE: Well, number one, they just want to prove, first off, a lot of things, one of the things that Michael Cohen wanted to say is he didn’t care about Melania. He didn’t care about his family. He only cared about the, only cared about his election. Reelection.

Number one–. A phrase that I’ve never heard from Donald Trump. But I admit to you, I have not spent as much time with him for a period of time as Michael Cohen did, is “Women will hate me.”.

I never heard the President Trump even express that. He’s always thinking, leaning forward. We got to, if you want to handle this deal, you deal with this problem, you go away with it.

And why is it important for them to say this was about the election, not about personal embarrassment? Because they want to show that he was manipulating the election, as if if the Stormy Daniels story got out, even in lieu of the Access Hollywood story, that would have changed people’s opinions and Hillary Clinton would have won.

First off, I thought the Russians won the election. We got to pick our story.

Number two. After deciding that, I go back to what Hope Hicks said I would go back with Rhona, said his a long time assistant. I go back to, with his assistant, whose name eludes me at this time over at the White House. Madeleine.

And she she says what Melania says, mattered more than anything else. That she used to go to the window so he could wave to him before he left on the helicopter, and he would come back.

What she said mattered so much. How could you just possibly suspend what they said, what Michael Cohen said, because he had one statement that he claimed happened. “How’s upstairs going to go with this story? It doesn’t matter.”

He came back and said, because I’m on, “if I’m on the market again, I won’t be in the market for long.”.

Well, that’s what Michael Cohen said, that Donald Trump said. And it comes down to who do you believe?

And lastly, should you get Allen Weisselberg out of prison? Should the CFO come out of prison and tell everybody what Donald Trump knew? Because he’s in prison, because he wouldn’t say what prosecutors wanted.
