As former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial enters its second week and witnesses have begun to testify, Trump has made a habit of speaking to the press during breaks. Trump’s remarks often repeat his regular talking points, raging against the gag order limiting him from attacking witnesses, jurors, or family members of court officials and claiming that he has been taken off the campaign trial.
During these rants, which often get a swift fact-check from outlets like CNN, reporters shout various questions at Trump, most of which he ignores.
C-SPAN’s Communications Director, Howard Mortman, has been collecting clips of the questions shouted at Trump and sharing them online. The questions often have to do with the more salacious facts of the charges Trump is currently facing, which largely have to do with allegedly falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to a porn star and Playboy model.
“President Trump, where’s Melania?” shouted one reporter in a clip shared by Mortman. Melania Trump has rarely been seen in public in recent months and has reportedly been furious with Trump for the alleged affairs having gone public.
On Tuesday, Mortman shared another bevy of questions launched Trump’s way, including:
“Mr. Trump – what do you think of David Pecker?”
“Are you happy with your attorneys, Mr. Trump?”
“Does Blanche has any credibility?”
On Monday, Trump was asked a similar set of questions and also, “Mr. Trump, what was it like to hear the Access Hollywood tape?” – referring to the infamous tape in which Trump said he likes to grab women by their genitals.
