‘All She Has Is Bullshit’: Trump Campaign Attacks Kamala Harris After Rolling Out Economic Plan

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign accused Vice President Kamala Harris of making empty promises before and after she unveiled an economic agenda in North Carolina on Friday, going as far as to claim her speech proposals were “bullshit.”

Harris addressed supporters in Raleigh during remarks in which she blamed high food costs on “price gouging” and vowed to rein in corporate greed. Harris also promised to bolster the child tax credit to $6,000 for the first year of a child’s life and to offer tax relief to 100 million Americans.

The Trump campaign spent much of Friday morning preemptively hitting the vice president as a “communist.” Two of the campaign’s social media accounts monikered her “Comrade Kamala” after it was announced she would support a bill that would permit the Federal Trade Commission to fine companies it deemed guilty of “price gouging.”

After Harris spoke on the high cost of groceries, the verified Trump War Room X (formerly Twitter) account accused her of pitching “bullshit” to voters – among other attacks.

In Raleigh, Harris said of her plan to lower food prices, “I will work to pass the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food. My plan will include new penalties for opportunistic companies that exploit crises and break the rules, and we will support smaller food businesses that are trying to play by the rules and get ahead.”

Harris also promised to lower the federal deficit and accused Trump of working on behalf of corporations and the wealthiest of Americans.
