Christine Pelosi Blasts Trump’s ‘Deceitful, Deranged Obsession’ With Her Mother After He Bizarrely Claimed They’d Be ‘Perfect Together’

Christine Pelosi wasted little time in firing back at bizarre comments made by former President Donald Trump Thursday, blasting him for his “deceitful, deranged obsession” with her mother, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Trump travelled to Capitol Hill to meet with congressional Republicans, his first visit back to Washington, D.C. since he became the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and a convicted felon.

Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman posted some of Trump’s comments on The Platform Formerly Known as Twitter, including one that he admitted left him perplexed.

“Nancy Pelosi’s daughter is a whacko, her daughter told me if things were different Nancy and I would be perfect together, there’s an age difference though,” Sherman wrote Trump said, adding it was “close to exact quote” from Trump.

“I [don’t] know what this means, really,” Sherman added. “But this is what he told a group of House Rs.”

Christine Pelosi, pictured above left along with her sister, documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, on the right, and their mother, responded to Sherman’s tweet with one of her own.

“Speaking for all 4 Pelosi daughters — this is a LIE,” she declared. “His deceitful, deranged obsession with our mother is yet another reason Donald Trump is unwell, unhinged and unfit to step foot anywhere near her — or the White House.”
