NEWS: Mediaite Launches New Video Podcast, First Episode to Feature Bill Maher

Mediaite is thrilled to announce the launch of a new video podcast, Press Club, hosted by editor-in-chief Aidan McLaughlin and featuring top figures in media and politics. The new show will debut Thursday with an in-depth interview with Bill Maher.

Press Club will feature mostly in-person conversations with the broadcasters, reporters, editors, and executives making the headlines from our studio in New York City. Guests will take listeners inside the news industry, reveal its secrets, and analyze the forces shaping its trajectory. New episodes will drop every Thursday, starting on March 7 with Maher, the longtime host of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.

The show will replace Mediaite’s weekly podcast The Interview, which ran from 2020 to earlier this year and hosted guests including Tucker Carlson, Rachel Maddow, Stephen A. Smith, Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, Margaret Brennan, Clarissa Ward, Chris Wallace, and more.
