Pamela Anderson has teamed up with Netflix to make a documentary on “her professional path and her personal journey” following the success of the Hulu drama Pam & Tommy.
The former Baywatch star announced the news in a Wednesday Instagram post — now the only one on her page after she decided to quit social media in Jan. 2021.

Anderson’s post shows a hand-written message penned on a Netflix notepad, in which she vows to “tell the real story” on her sex tape with Tommy Lee — which went viral after it was stolen from their safe by a disgruntled employee.
“My life,” the note began. “A thousand imperfections, a million misperceptions. Wicked, wild & lost.”
“Nothing to live up to — I can only surprise you,” she continued. “Not a victim, but a survivor and alive to tell the real story.”
The official Netflix Twitter account later confirmed Anderson’s vow to tell all in a follow-up tweet:

“Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary,” read the announcement. “The film, which has been in the making for several years, will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey.”
While Anderson has not publicly voiced her thoughts on Hulu’s Pam & Tommy — which aims to chronicle the former couple’s lives amid their 1990s sex tape scandal — reports have claimed she is unhappy with the miniseries.
A close source to Anderson told Entertainment Weekly that Anderson would “never, never” watch the series, which stars Sebastian Stan as Lee and Lily James as Anderson.
“Not even years from now,” the source added. “Not even the trailer.”
Courtney Love, a friend of Anderson’s, also hit at the series for rehashing past wounds and causing “complex trauma” for Anderson.
