‘Voters Are Seeing Us as Losers’: Ex-Hillary Spox On CNN Delivers Punishing Reaction to Latest Dismal Biden Poll

CNN political commentator and former Hillary Clinton spokesperson Karen Finney gave a brutal review of Democrats following a disastrous poll for President Joe Biden.

A new poll from the Associated Press and National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago (NORC) released Wednesday found 70% of voters and 65% of Democrats feel Biden should suspend his reelection campaign amid worries about hiss stamina and age. A new poll also found Biden performs worse than other potential Democratic nominees in swing states.

“Voters are seeing us as losers,” Finney said on CNN This Morning on Wednesday in reaction.

Finney argued Democrats are helping to perpetuate a “cycle” where voters don’t have confidence in them. More than a dozen Democratic lawmakers previously called for Biden to step down following his debate performance on CNN last month. Biden has insisted multiple times since then that he has no plans on dropping from the race and he’s the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump.

“One of the things, though, that I think, we’re in a cycle where Democrats – it’s becoming a life-fulfilling prophecy. The more we talk about how afraid we are of losing instead of how we’re going to win, voters are seeing us as losers,” she said.

Voters she added, don’t feel Democrats even think they can win in November against Trump.

“If you don’t believe in yourself that you can win, voters are sort of saying, ‘Well then why am I gonna – why should I vote for you?'” she said.
