‘What A Country!’ CNN Morning Crew Cracks Up Over Small Trump Penis T-Shirt Supreme Court Decision

CNN’s morning show crew laughed at the absurdity of a Supreme Court decision that ruled mocking former President Donald Trump’s penis is protected speech — but not by trademark law.

The Supreme Court issued several rulings Thursday, most notably kicking an abortion pill case over the plaintiffs’ lack of standing.

But they also issued a ruling in the case of Katherine K. Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director, United States Patent and Trademark Office v. Steve Elster on whether it is a violation of the First Amendment for the government to deny Elster a trademark for a T-shirt that mocks Trump using a double entendre that is clearly a reference to Trump’s junkSteve Elster’s attempt to trademark the phrase “TRUMP TOO SMALL” for use on t-shirts.

On Thursday morning’s edition of CNN This Morning, host Kasie Hunt exclaimed “What a county!” as she and her co-stars laughed as they discussed the decision:

KASIE HUNT: Then this story —

SEN. MARCO RUBIO: Have you seen his hands? They’re like this. And you know what they say about men with small hands.

DONALD TRUMP: He said I had small hands. They’re not small. I guarantee you there’s no problem, I guarantee it.

KASIE HUNT: Remember that proud moment in American politics?

Well, the Supreme Court says that you can mock Trump’s manhood all you want, but if you call him too small, you can’t trademark it.

The justices ruling against a California man who wanted exclusive rights to the phrase “Trump too small” to print on hats and t-shirts.

(LAUGHTER)

ELLIOT WILLIAMS: You know, isn’t America a amazing place that a senator can comment on the size of a president’s hands and a zing on his manhood? And a man can try to trademark it and lose in the Supreme Court. What a country!

It’s just sort of — how do you make this up? Nowhere else in the world.

KASIE HUNT: What a country! Okay.
