Joe Rogan declared it’s officially the “craziest season” of the United States ever following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

Rogan covered the shooting in a Wednesday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience where he was joined by fellow comedian Chad Daniels.

“If there’s ever been a real indication that we’re in a simulation. It’s like this season of USA is the craziest season that’s ever existed. There are so many twists and turns, so many plots, so many villains, so many incompetent bumbling fools,” Rogan said.

The podcaster called the photo of a bloodied Trump fist-pumping to the crowd after being struck in the ear on Saturday “one of the most iconic photos of all time.” Daniels also marveled at Trump going “full John Bender from The Breakfast Club.”

A rally goer was also fatally shot and two others were wounded by the shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, who was killed by Secret Service after firing on the Pennsylvania rally.

“The Trump story is right out of a movie and I’m hoping it’s not a Stephen King movie,” Rogan said.

The podcaster was in utter shock that a 20-year-old could manage to climb a roof with a rifle and get so close to a former president.

“The whole thing stinks of incompetence or design or we’re in the Matrix,” Rogan joked.

At one point, the comedian declared about Trump, “This isn’t a real person,” calling the circumstances around the shooting like something out of a movie.

“The Trump one is just so nuts too. He turns his head at the last second and the bullet grazes his ear,” Rogan said. “If he didn’t, it hits the back of his head and he’s dead and we fall into chaos and who knows what the fuck happens.”
