‘Elitist, Snobby Bullsh*t!’ Right-Wing Podcast Host Tears Into ‘Conceited’ and ‘Arrogant’ Nikki Haley in Searing Takedown
Patrick Bet-David held nothing back as he led his PBD Podcast co-hosts in a full-scale clobbering of Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley.
Bet-David got the ball rolling with colleagues Adam Sosnick, Tom Ellsworth and Vincent Oshana by discussing the possibility of Haley as Trump’s running mate if she cannot defeat the former president while he remains the GOP 2024 frontrunner. After Ellsworth hypothesized that Haley is gunning for the VP slot at this point, Bet-David laid out his distaste for her, calling her “snobby, know-it-all [and] entitled.”
Bet-David based his criticisms on the fact that Haley doesn’t go on podcasts, which he took as a condescending attitude towards those who eschew cable news and the mainstream media. He contrasted her with Ron DeSantis, saying that the Florida governor “can’t stand doing podcasts,” but at least he has done them.
If you’re not a mainstream cable listener, she’s trying to tell you you’re not smart enough for her. She’s trying to tell you the only people she, that have earned the right to listen to her speak, are the the people that are mainstream media… Nikki Haley, I want to like you, I want to trust you, but the vibe you give me is you look down at people who consume podcast shows, and you think you’re above it. Again, maybe I’m wrong. You just give me that vibe of an elitist, entitled, has-been-controlled by the people of all education degrees.
The panel kept this going as Sosnick called Haley an opportunist of the Republican establishment, while Oshana said he would lose “a lot of respect” for Trump if he were to tap Haley.
“If that does happen” said Oshana, “I would have a food-tester. I wouldn’t trust that girl at all, because guess what? God forbid, if they go after him and for some reason they impeach… She’s gonna come in.”
“She’s gonna pull an LBJ?” Bet-David asked. “I don’t know about that.”
“Why wouldn’t she? Then she becomes the president. I’m just saying, I don’t trust her.”
Bet-David didn’t go that far, but he maintained his disgust for elitists and his view that Haley acts like “she’s better than other people, and it’s not attractive.”
I trust DeSantis. I think he’s a good guy. I don’t relate to elitist, snobby, bullsh*t, I’m-better-than-you to come and talk to the average person type of people, and that’s her! …. All I’m saying to her is your brand, Nikki, your camp, whoever that’s watching this, you guys come across as arrogant, conceited, elitist, and it’s unattractive to a guy who loves America, who worked his ass off in America. You come across as elitist, arrogant, you’re-better-than-me and I don’t like it. Period. If that’s you and it’s always been like you, it’s unattractive and I don’t think I’m alone.
Watch above.
