Former President Donald Trump posted an extraordinarily crass video that makes sexually explicit allusions about Vice President Kamala Harris and pushes long-debunked claims about the 2020 election being stolen.

The video, which Trump posted to his Truth Social account on Sunday, opens with a mock up image of Harris holding a sign that reads “I am a moron.” Then, a parody version of the Alanis Morissette song “Ironic” plays. While the original lists a series of unfortunate circumstances (that aren’t actually ironic), the Trump version begins by accusing President Joe Biden of having dementia and Harris of “pulling the strings to cut his rope.”

It then veers abruptly into false stolen election claims, accompanied by footage of windows being covered at a ballot center that has been touted as evidence the 2020 election was stolen. Those claims, as well as all claims of rampant fraud in the last presidential race, have been roundly fact-checked and rejected.

“Make the ballots fake on election day; no matter who votes, count’s on the take,” the song in Trump’s post goes, before taking an ugly turn: “Spent her whole damn life down on her knees; To be commander in chief, that’s how you say please.”

The jab is a reference to Harris’s relationship with Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco, who she dated in the 1990s. Harris’s critics point to the fact that Brown appointed her to two state boards in an effort to downplay her career and professional accomplishments.

Among the political help Brown secured for Harris was a $5,000.00 donation from a certain Manhattan real estate developer.
