Trump Rages After Kamala Harris Blows Away His Digital Ad Spending: ‘IT’S ALL FAKE, IT’S ALL MISINFORMATION’
Former President Donald Trump raged on Truth Social after news that Vice President Kamala Harris has spent nearly six times what Trump has spent on digital ads year-to-date, claiming, “IT’S ALL FAKE.”
The Harris for President campaign recently announced it took in $540 million in the month after President Joe Biden dropped out — a record haul.
And this week, FWIW publisher Kyle Tharp highlighted the fact that year-to-date the Biden and Harris campaigns have outspent Trump on digital, $142.7 million to $25.7 million, on Facebook/Instagram and Google/Youtube ads.
The site also found Harris with an advantage on TikTok:

According to social analytics platform Zelf, there were 32,900 posts mentioning Harris on TikTok last week, receiving a collective 434.2 million views.24% of the top-performing TikTok posts last week mentioning Harris were negative and 74% were positive.

According to social analytics platform Zelf, there were 41,600 posts mentioning Trump on TikTok last week, receiving a collective 703.9 million views.63% of the top-performing TikTok posts last week mentioning Trump were negative and 36% were positive.
The campaign is also putting their war chest to use by reserving $370 million in paid media between Labor Day and Election Day, the campaign said.
On Wednesday, Trump lashed out on Truth Social with a post that repurposed Biden’s promise to beat Trump “like a drum” and insisted Harris’s social media engagement is “FAKE”:

The post included a screenshot listing video thumbnails with view counts in the millions.
Trump has been the beneficiary of billions of dollars in so-called “earned media” from cable news and viral videos like those he listed.
