Visibly Affected Trey Yingst Has To Withhold Details Of Hamas Attack ‘Too Disturbing To Explain On TV’ Revealed By Interrogation of Hamas Terrorist
Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst has been on the ground in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, which has evolved to include Hezbollah and which began with the heinous October 7 Hamas terror attack targeting civilians in Israel for murder, kidnapping, rape, and torture.
Yingst on Saturday described a video Fox News obtained showing an interrogation by Israeli forces of a captured Hamas terrorist who confessed to truly horrific acts in the attack, some of which were too horrible and graphic for Yingst to discuss on air, he reported.
“Fox News has obtained and reviewed an Israeli interrogation video of a Hamas militant who participated in the October 7th massacre,” he said. “I do need to warn our viewers, what I am about to describe is incredibly graphic, but it gives new details on what took place two weeks ago.’
In the video, explained Yingst, the terrorist told interrogators that their “commanders said they could do whatever they felt like doing and that this was a suicide mission, telling them they should not plan on coming back.”
“He says commanders told them to step on the heads of civilians, to behead them and do whatever they felt like,” Yingst continued. “He went on to talk about how Hamas and ISIS are being compared. The interrogator asked him about this comparison, and he agreed. He said, we burned, we slaughtered, and beheaded people.”
Yingst also reported that the Hamas terrorists used Telegram to communicate and “share videos in real time” while committing the attacks, which included beheadings, cutting of feet, killing of infants, and other unspeakable acts.

Some of those videos have reportedly been obtained by the Israelis, and on Monday will be shown to reporters.
We are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon unfolding in real time.

“It’s sickening that the government has to do this, even after the many eyewitness accounts and the journalists allowed into morgues,” noted Jerusalem Post’s Lahav Harkov on Sunday.
Below is a transcript of Yingst’s report.
Fox News has obtained and reviewed an Israeli interrogation video of a Hamas militant who participated in the October 7th massacre. I do need to warn our viewers, what I am about to describe is incredibly graphic, but it gives new details on what took place two weeks ago.
In the video, you see a Hamas militant. He is in a white cloth jumpsuit sitting across from an Israeli interrogator. That interrogator is asking him questions. This militant was captured outside of Alumim, a small community, a kibbutz that sits on the border with Gaza.
In the video, he describes the preparation and coordination for this assault on southern Israel. He talks about a Telegram group that Hamas fighters had and they were communicating as the massacre took place, sending videos as they got them, as they were killing civilians in their homes.
And this interrogator asks him about Islam. And he acknowledges that in the religion, you are told not to kill women, children, and elderly people. But he describes what Hamas commanders told them to do. He says that commanders said they could do whatever they felt like doing and that this was a suicide mission, telling them they should not plan on coming back. New details about what exactly was going through the minds of these militants as they entered and slaughtered so many innocent people.
He says commanders told them to step on the heads of civilians, to behead them and do whatever they felt like. He went on to talk about how Hamas and ISIS are being compared. The interrogator asked him about this comparison, and he agreed. He said, we burned, we slaughtered, and beheaded people.
And then he went on to ask more questions. And this interrogator was pushing this Hamas fighter and this militant to get more information from him. And he said, “we became animals, things that humans do not do.” And when the interrogator asked him, “what type of things did you do to these civilians after you killed them?” – he described them. And we can’t describe them to you because they are too graphic to explain on television. But it gives you a sense of what exactly took place.
More than 1,400 Israelis slaughtered at the hands of Hamas militants who entered southern Israel on October 7, starting this conflict that’s erupted behind us. And we do know by this video that we obtained and reviewed, they were given coordinated specific plans to come into Israel and put all beliefs aside with one goal in mind: to inflict as much terror on the civilian population here as possible.
