Vice President Kamala Harris is appearing on the season finale of Ru Paul’s Drag Race this week in a video message recorded before President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
The video message, which includes celebrities like Lance Bass and Leslie Jones, will air tomorrow night and features Harris from a “drag race viewing party” where she promotes a get-out-the-vote effort.
“Each day we are seeing our rights and freedoms under attack, including the right of everyone to be who they are, love who they love openly and with pride,” Harris said in the video.
She encouraged voters to visit vote.gov to register ahead of November’s election where the presumptive Democratic Party nominee will face off against former President Donald Trump.
“So as we fight back against these attacks, let’s all remember no one is alone. We are all in this together and your vote is your power,” the vice president said.
The message was recorded last month before Biden announced he was dropping his reelection campaign amid concerns about his age and stamina. Michelle Visage, Jamal Sims, and Cheyenne Jackson are also featured in the Harris video set to air on Paramount+.
Harris has already secured the delegates needed to move to the top of the ticket, and she’s been racking up endorsements, including from Biden.
